Congratulations Hunter Mate!
The Black River FFA chapter proudly continued its cherished holiday tradition by hosting the annual “Cookies and Crafts with Santa” event at Black River Elementary School. This year, over 155 enthusiastic students from preschool through fifth grade joined in the festive fun.
The FFA Chapter created a delightful after-school experience for elementary students, offering them the chance to meet Santa and engage in a variety of holiday-themed arts and crafts. The Black River Student Council members also lent a helping hand throughout the evening, ensuring that every child enjoyed the festivities. In addition to crafting, students participated in a range of Christmas games, filling the gymnasium with laughter and cheer.
The highlight of the evening was a special visit from Santa. Proceeds from this heartwarming occasion will be donated to a local family in need, exemplifying the FFA chapter's commitment to community support.
A special shoutout goes to the dedicated FFA members who made the event a success: Clare Reisinger, Sydney Czarny, Ava Jordan, Kage Petruzzi, Emily Kiser, Jayden Young, Allysa Hamilton, Caleb and Rylee Howard, Kade Kelso, Addison Flynn, Brayden Lawhon, Olivia Bailey, Leah Coffman, Savanna Landrum, Maddy McDonald, Kolby Magnes, Carlee Mennell, The chapter extends its heartfelt gratitude to the elementary staff, Mr. Griffin, Black River Student Council members, and the parent volunteers who helped bring this magical evening to life.
