On March 15, the Black River FFA Chapter participated in the Ashland FFA Judging
Invitational at the Ashland County Fairgrounds. Members competed in the Poultry
Evaluation and General Livestock Judging competitions, gaining valuable experience in
agricultural assessment and decision-making.
The Poultry Judging Team achieved an impressive fourth-place finish. Individual results
were as follows:
Emma McCann – 8th place
Kade Kelso – 17th place
Caleb Howard – 27th place
Aidan Sas – 35th place
Dagur Charlton – 38th place
Savanna Landrum – 44th place
David Bryant – 48th place
In the General Livestock Judging team secured 24th place overall, with individual
results as follows:
Addison Flynn – 16th place
Rylee Howard – 49th place
Adalee Hollan – 98th place
The Black River FFA Chapter commends all participating members for their dedication
and effort. These competitions provide essential hands-on learning experiences that
enhance students’ knowledge and skills in the field of agriculture. Congratulations to all
