Mrs. Dieter's Honors English 10 class completed a bracket challenge debate activity to accompany the novel, Station 11, by Emily St. John Mandel. Student's worked in small groups to research a plague, pandemic, or illness from over the last 3,000 years, and had to create arguments for a debate to support that it is the worst of all time. This energy-filled activity sparred introspective discussions.
