On December 7, eight members of the Black River FFA chapter proudly represented their
organization in the State Novice Parliamentary Procedure Career Development Event, held at the
Delaware Area Career Center. This prestigious competition challenges students to demonstrate
their expertise in conducting effective business meetings and group decision-making processes.
The event involves a simulated FFA meeting where the team showcases their mastery of
parliamentary law in front of a panel of judges. Additionally, participants complete a written
exam and answer oral questions designed to assess their comprehensive knowledge of
parliamentary procedure.

The team achieved an impressive 4th place finish in their room, earning recognition as one of the
top 20 novice teams in the state. Their hard work and dedication reflect the high standards and commitment of the Black River FFA chapter.
