FCCLA- qtr 2

Black River FCCLA has been very productive the past few weeks with many service projects. On November 1, FCCLA members enjoyed putting on our annual Veterans Day Breakfast and Assembly, where we had over thirty veterans and their spouses/family members attend, where 57 members arrived at 5:45 in the morning to prepare for the event. The officer team works on the script for this event, and they did a great job including other student groups such as Ruriteens, Student Council, FFA, the Art Department, and Social Studies department in helping make this a memorable activity. FCCLA members also helped at the Christmas by the River Craft Show on November 9th! They helped vendors set up, and then helped run the concession stand at this event.

Would you like to support our service projects? If so, we are currently collecting gently used or new blankets for a local veterans home. FCCLA is also selling Pirate Fleece blankets as a fundraiser for service as well! Contact Mrs. Demczyk, Adviser on how to order one of these truly soft and unique gifts! And last, but not least, we are selling RADA Cutlery, American made cutlery to help with service project funding as well.
