Black River Local Schools announces the retirement of Superintendent Chris A. Clark, effective July 31, 2024. As we look toward the future, we are initiating the search for a new leader to fill this vital role.
We are partnering with the Ohio School Board Association (OSBA) to engage the community in the selection process. OSBA will conduct focus groups to understand the characteristics our community values in a superintendent.
Join us on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the Black River Education Center Auditorium to contribute to the discussion. The full schedule for the day is as follows:
- 1:00 – 1:30 PM: Bus Drivers/Nutrition Services/Custodians
- 2:30 – 3:00 PM: High School and Middle School Staff
- 4:00 – 4:30 PM: Elementary School Staff
- 5:00 – 5:30 PM: Open Time for those who cannot attend earlier sessions
- 6:00 – 6:30 PM: Community Members
