Welcome to English 10 and Honors English 10

A proud '00 Black River alumni, I started at Black River High School in 2004. With two degrees from The University of Akron, I enjoy being a life-long learner. I became a teacher because my mom was a teacher - who loved her career - and my life was positively impacted by caring teachers, coaches, and advisors. I want to be able to make a difference in young people’s lives the same way others did for me. I am a mother of two sets of twins, who attend BR, and wife who places her faith first. I enjoy spending time with my family travelling, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting - the outdoors. In and out of the classroom, I am best known as 'Coach' as I coach volleyball, basketball, and track & field. My goal is to be a teacher who challenged each of her students to be their best, to persevere, and to see open doors that may not have been apparent when they first entered her room.
